The number of new COVID-19 cases in India during the past 24 hours has increased to 12,193, bringing the total number of active cases to 67,556, according to the Union health ministry. According to data from the ministry updated at 8 am, the number of people who have died as a result of the viral sickness has increased to 5,31,300 with 42 more fatalities, including 10 confirmed by Kerala. 4,48,81,877 Covid cases were reported in total.
