Blogger Kaka Sidhu, also known as Bhana Siddhu, has been granted relief by the Mohali District Court. The court has granted him bail in a case filed against him in Mohali, with a private bond of Rs. 50,000. The bond has been submitted by his family members, facilitating his release from jail.

Expressing gratitude towards his mentors and associates for their support, Sidhu acknowledged their role in securing his release on bail. Meanwhile, his lawyer, Manu Joshi, asserted that the case against Bhana Sidhu was wrongly filed, alleging an attempt to suppress his voice as he was becoming a voice for the people.

The case filed in Mohali accused Bhana Sidhu and his associate, Aman Sidhu, of threatening and blackmailing the operator of an immigration company in Phase-1. The charges include sections under IPC such as 294 (obscene acts), 387 (putting a person in fear of death or of grievous hurt in order to commit extortion), and 506 (criminal intimidation). The complaint was lodged by Kindarbir Singh Bidesha, a resident of Sangrur, who owns an immigration consultancy firm in Phase-5. He had leveled various allegations against Bhana Sidhu and Aman Sidhu. The case is currently registered at the Phase-1 police station in Mohali. It is worth noting that prior to this case in Mohali, Bhana Sidhu had faced cases in Ludhiana and Patiala.

The Mohali case specifically pertains to allegations of threatening and attempting to extort the immigration company operator.
