Asserting that the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony at Ram temple in Ayodhya is an event of the entire society, former BJP MP Ram Vilas Das Vedanti has hit out at the Congress after its veteran Digvijay Singh dubbed the ceremony scheduled to be held later this month as ‘BJP/RSS event’. The former BJP MP said that Congress has boycotted ‘Hindutva, Sanatan Dharma and nationalism’ after declining the invitation to attend the pran-pratishtha at Ram Temple. “This is not an event of any party but of the entire society. Nobody has been stopped, and invitations have been extended to every party. This is a religious, devotional, cultural and historical event…Congress has boycotted Hindutva, ” Vedanti said.
