The Congress party unveiled another roster of 16 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Among them, youth leader Vikramaditya Singh will contest against BJP’s Kangana Ranaut in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi constituency, while Vinod Sultanpuri will vie for the Shimla seat. Notably, Congress MP Manish Tewari will run for the Chandigarh constituency.

In Gujarat, the party has nominated candidates like Ramji Thakor, Himmatsinh Patel, Pareshbhai Dhanani, and Naishadh Desai for various seats. Additionally, the Congress revealed contenders for by-elections in Gujarat and Odisha. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized the BJP-led government, accusing it of favoring select businessmen and neglecting public infrastructure. He emphasized this stance during an election rally in Bhandara.

The Congress also released its manifesto for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, outlining several promises, including legal safeguards for Minimum Support Price (MSP), increased women’s reservation in government jobs, economic growth targets, and amendments to the GST framework.
