When the Congress Party is about to take a bold initiative for forming an alliance of opposition parties excluding the Mamta Banerjee’s TMC at the same time TMC has started an informal dialogue with some regional parties to forge a national alliance keeping Congress out of the combination. TMC MPs have started talk with K Chandrasekhar Rao of Telangana, Arvind Kejriwal of Delhi for further talks with other regional parties. Even they have started talks with oldest ally of Congress of Tamil Nadu –DMK to keep Congress out from the combination. It all started from the day when Rahul Gandhi accused TMC while campaigning in Meghalaya. Even AICC Spokesperson Jayaram Ramesh on the very first day of AICC Plenary criticized TMC for secretly helping BJP to divide the opposition. They have termed the opposition alliance as G-8 of the countries. As Samajwadi party and RJD and JD(U) are not very optimistic about Congress led opposition front ,TMC is sure to form an alternative platform of the opposition unity .
