The Congress and National Conference (NC) launched a joint door-to-door campaign in Ward No. 6 of Jammu East, extending their support for Congress-NC candidate Sh. Raman Bhalla in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The campaign, flagged off from Shaheedi Chowk and culminating in Gujjar Nagar, witnessed the active participation of several prominent leaders from both parties. Among those present were Yogesh Sawhney, Ex-Minister & MLA of Jammu East, along with senior leaders including Ritu Choudhary, Ex-Corporator; Ayub Malik, Provincial Secretary of NC; Asrar Ahmed, Vice President of Mohalla Welfare Committee in Gujjar Nagar; Parvez Fazli; Chander Mohan Sharma, District President of Jammu Urban NC; Ajay Kumar, Block President of Congress East; Ashwani Charak, Block President of East Jammu NC; Tajinder Pal Singh, District Youth President of NC; Som Raj, Zonal Secretary of Jammu NC; Shabir Sambyal, Vice President of Jammu NC; Nitish Goswami, Provincial Secretary of Youth NC; Asha Anand, Joint Secretary of Jammu East; and several others.

The campaign saw a strong presence of local leaders and supporters, including Asar Tipu, Ashraf, Dilwar Malik, Showkat Choudhary, Shehnaz Malik, Arif Malik, Sanjeev Mehra, Shahid Malik, Aftab Manhas, Raja, Ayub Choudhary, Abdul Rashid Bhui, Bittu Salaria, Gibran, Harris, Ajju, Hira Lal, Darshan Lal, Geetu, Maqbool, and many more.

The joint effort signifies a united front by the Congress and NC to mobilize grassroots support and garner momentum for their candidate, underscoring their shared commitment to addressing the aspirations and concerns of the electorate in Jammu East.

The vibrant campaign reflects a strategic alliance aimed at maximizing electoral outreach and highlighting the collaborative approach of the Congress and NC towards contesting the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
