The INDIA bloc has started holding serious discussions about seat sharing, with the Congress spearheading efforts to form important coalitions with the Aam Admi Party in Punjab and Delhi. There will be discussions in all states where the Aam Aadmi Party has elected representatives and organizations, according to AAP leader and MP Sandeep Pathak, who is representing his party in the talks on Monday.

“Discussion will be held over all the important, critical states where we have elected representatives and organisational strength”.
AAP MP Sandeep Pathak emphasised that everything is going in the right direction.
“It is certain that all the partners are serious. The only thing is it should be done as early as possible. Rest, everything is going in the right direction.”
AAP MP Sandeep Pathak also highlighted the need to know what the local units in the states want and the discussions must be held considering that.

Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit commented on the AAP and Congress sharing seats in the Lok Sabha: “Our national leadership is aware of our viewpoint…Our disagreements with the AAP are related to the Delhi administration. Whether an alliance forms and which seats will be contested will be determined later. All I ask is that, should an alliance form, its specifics be decided upon promptly so that we can plan accordingly.” Abhishek Dutt, the leader of the Congress, promised that the INDIA bloc would win seats in each of the seven Delhi seats.
