vious Gehlot government’s tenure has been initiated by the Bhajan Lal government. The ministerial committee formed for the review held its first meeting on Thursday under the chairmanship of Cabinet Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar. The four-member ministerial committee has listed more than 200 decisions in its first meeting.
The committee will review all these decisions every Tuesday. After the first meeting, the committee clarified that there would be no action taken due to any political bias. However, if the government has given any benefits to its favourites against the rules or has taken any decision against the interest of the state in any way, it will be reviewed and action will be taken.
The coordinator of the committee, Minister Gajendra Khinvsar, stated that department-wise reviews will be conducted. A list of cases from all departments is being prepared. The committee has started work today, outlining how the work will be done, who will be responsible, and how decisions will be reviewed.
Committee member and minister Jogaram Patel said that tenders like those of non-BRS, which involve an amount of more than one crore and personal benefit decisions, will be reviewed. He said that no decision would be taken due to political bias.
Jogaram said that decisions will not be made with a sense of revenge. Regarding the decisions of the previous government to create new districts, Patel said that it would not be right to say anything now, but it is possible that those decisions could also come under review.
