TMC has already successfully projected their leader, Mamata Banerjee, as the key figure behind the opposition alliance named I.N.D.I.A. Now, a new war of words emerges between the grand old party and TMC as they try to finalise the main slogan for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. The Congress party is attempting to coin a phrase from Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharot Jodo Jatra,’ coming up with ‘Jorega Bharot and Jitega INDIA.’ Rahul Gandhi’s journey was all about connecting India with love against hatred. On the other hand, TMC leader Mamata Banerjee has presented her party’s annual public meeting slogan on 21st July as ‘Jetaga Bharot – Jitega India.’ The final slogan for the alliance will be decided in the upcoming opposition party meeting scheduled to be held in Mumbai.
