Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar spoke to Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and took the update about the health of Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Earlier on 2 October former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Mulayam Singh Yadav’s health deteriorated and has been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Medanta hospital in Gurugram.
Meanwhile, the SP office on 2 October said, “Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, on receiving information about the deteriorating health of Samajwadi Party Patron Mulayam Singh Yadav, had a telephonic conversation with his son and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav, and inquired about his health. The Chief Minister has wished for the speedy recovery of Mulayam Singh Yadav.”
For several days Mulayam was admitted to the hospital and now he has been shifted to the ICU after a deterioration in his health.
Earlier on Sunday Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Akhilesh Yadav and said whatever possible assistance is required, he is there to help.
Moreover, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also wished for a speedy recovery.
Taking to Twitter Rajnath Singh said, “Spoke to SP chief Akhilesh Yadav after information about the ill health of his father Mulayam Singh Yadav was received. I pray to God that he gets well soon.”

However, Mulayam Singh Yadav founded the Samajwadi Party and he is referred to as Netaji. Currently, the 82-year-old leader represents the Manipuri constituency in the Lok Sabha.
