CM Ashok Gehlot addressed a massive rally in Nawalgarh on Sunday ahead of the Rajasthan Assembly election campaign. After the rally, he reached Khetri and held a meeting in support of Congress candidate Manisha Gurjar at the historic Polo Ground sports ground of the town. During this, Congress candidate Manisha Gurjar welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting Momentum. While addressing the election meeting, CM Gehlot appealed to vote in support of the Congress candidate.
CM Gehlot fiercely targeted BJP saying, “There is no enmity in the fight for democracy, but the people of our Delhi government talk like enemies. They make such allegations; they make allegations like enemies. ED raids were conducted on me, my family, PCC President. If they have ED, we have a guarantee. They do not believe in democracy. They are misusing ED and CBI. They are ruling through intimidation.”
Along with this, the Chief Minister targeted the central leaders of the BJP coming to campaign in Rajasthan. He said, “Yogi ji Maharaj, Chief Minister of Assam, Nadda Saheb, Amit Shah, Modi ji don’t know what they say. Together they have no shortcomings…I have challenged them to point out the shortcomings in the work we have done. Of our schemes, the laws we have passed. What do you have to say about that? They ruined the farmers, and 600 farmers were killed. The strike lasted for a year. In the end, they had to withdraw the law.”
CM Gehlot once again claimed to repeat his government. In Khetri, Gehlot said, “I had gone to Kerala. There were Communist and Congress party governments for 70 years. Once there was Congress and once there was the Communist Party government. When I went to the assembly elections, I was told that the Communist Party government was being formed. So I asked why, and then it was said that it worked well in Corona. So I thought that such work was done in Rajasthan and the World Health Organisation praised the Bhilwara model.”
During the program, MLA Dr Jitendra Singh, who reached Khetri for the first time after the ticket was cut, also addressed the gathering.
On this occasion, former MLA Dataram Gurjar, Congress candidate Manisha Gurjar, former Chhattisgarh minister Satyanarayan Sharma, Municipality President Geeta Saini, OBC Cell District President Leeladhar Saini, Gokulchand Saini, Sudhir Gupta, Shishram Gurjar, Anil Bohra, Prakash Awana, Pabudan Singh. Many people including Nangli, Sandeep Singh, Krishna Kumar, former head Madan Lal Gurjar, SP Yadav, Vijay Singh, Manisha Yadav, Chhotu Ram Jangid, Chunilal Chaneja, Dharamveer Gurjar, Ravindra Fauji were present.
