Women are capable of achieving anything they set their minds to. Throughout history, women have broken barriers and excelled in various fields, from science and technology to politics, arts, sports, and beyond. It’s essential to recognize and support the talents and aspirations of women everywhere, ensuring they have equal opportunities to pursue their dreams and contribute to society in meaningful ways.
WE ARE BORN WITH A PURPOSE
The progress women have made is not simply a matter of destiny; it’s the result of centuries of determination, struggle, and advocacy for equality. It’s a testament to the resilience, intelligence, and strength of women have identified the ability to do something for people around. who have fought for their rights and opportunities. It’s about recognizing and affirming the inherent worth and capabilities of every individual, regardless of gender. One such person, who did not let anything shadow her persona and neither did she let her strong political connection and background be a catalyst in her way of her vision, her goal and her intention to contribute to the society. HIMANSHI GEHLOT who is a Social Activist, a Psychologist, a Social Worker and more of a Social Reformer. She runs an NGO, in the name of INVENTIVE HELPING HAND SOCIETY. It is one of its kind organization which has been calibrated, vision and mission looking at the agony of cancer patients, especially women who lose their hair when they undergo Chemotherapy. Himanshi with all efforts, transparency and kindness gives such women a ray of hope, a better self-image and an opportunity to reinvent their life by feeling more confident. She is a multifaceted personality who is trying to help those in genuine need and believes that WE ARE WOMEN, WE CAN DO IT.
GOD HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES
Himanshi’s journey started when she ran into a young cancer warrior, who had lost her hair during the treatment and demanded for a wig. Himanshi pulled all stops to get her one, but could not find anyone who would provide her with a wig but she didn’t lose hope. Then one fine day she came across a lady who gave her address of a person, who was as honest and pure as her and started providing her wigs, reaffirming Himanshi’s conviction. Himanshi felt that WHERE THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY. She never let go of her honesty and resilience in her journey to contribute towards the society. While meeting and interacting with all these cancer survivors, she had a realization and felt that we all should have GRATITUDE AND WE SHOULD MAKE SOME USE OF LIFE THAT GOD HAS GIVEN TO US. She suggests that, people should know whatever is happening around them. We all should go and meet people in distress and understand the value of life. Besides, we should also be AWARE about whom are we helping so that the resource reaches the right place. We all should have empathy and will to work for betterment of society. She firmly believes, that Women should be skillful and acquire skills that makes them independent, gives them a thought process, helps them develop their own opinion and courage to STAND FOR THEMSELVES. Himanshi firmly believes, that daughters should be taught to stand on their own feet and not solely, rely upon the titles, money and materialistic possessions of their families. So it can be said that all women have the tenacity, vision and mission. We only need to get in touch with ourselves and make the world a better place.
