The CJI DY Chandrachud informed the lawyers that the vacation benches will be taking up fresh admission matters and hybrid hearings will be permitted before the vacation benches for the convenience of the parties. The bench informed in the lase week of the Supreme Court’s working before the beginning of the summer vacations.
The CJI DY Chandrachud stated while making the announcement that case wherein someone wants to go and argue from somewhere more convenient, you are most welcome.
It has been stated that as per the bench of the CJI DY Chandrachud more than 300 fresh matters, which could not have been taken up by the said court, the same would be listed before the vacation benches of the Supreme Court during the summer break.
CJI DY Chandrachud stated that, my brothers who are sitting in the vacation benches have sportingly agreed to hearing fresh matters in vacations.
Therefore, the summer vacation for the Apex Court is commencing from Monday i.e., May 22, 2023 to Sunday i.e., July 02, 2023.
