Check specifics for Wednesday’s power outage in some areas of Chennai

Due to routine maintenance, there will be power outages in several areas of Chennai on Wednesday.

The power supply would be cut off at a number of locations in the state capital between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., according to the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO). If the maintenance is finished before 2 o’clock in that specific region, the supply may also resume before that time. In the communities of Avadi, Alamathy, Porur, Ponneri, Redhills, Tambaram, Vyasarpadi, and Vanagaram, the electricity supply would be cut off.

There will be power outages in Senthil Nagar, Mullai Kurunji Street, Srinagar neighbourhood, and Cholan Nagar in the Avadi area.

The power supply will be cut off in the Alamathy region, including Alamathy Road, Kanniyamman Nagar, Morai Estate, Veltech Road, Vellanoor, and nearby areas.

Redhills region neighbourhoods with scheduled power outages include Manish Nagar, Sothupakkam Road, Arumanthai, Jai Durga Nagar, and Arumanthai.

In Tambaram, Kalyanasundaram Street, Chokkanathan Street, Sudha Avenue, Sharma Nagar, Babu Street, Chitlapakkam, SBI colony, and other neighbourhoods will have power outages.

Peruvoyal, RN Kandigai, Durainallur Kavarapettai, Arani, Chinnambedu, Mangalam, and nearby areas in Ponneri will have power outages.

Electricity will be suspended in Porur’s Rajeshwari Nagar, Pari Garden, Poonamalle, Rukmani Nagar, Muthukumaran Nagar, and nearby neighbourhoods.

Additionally, power will be cut off in Vyasarpadi’s CMBTT Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Mahavishnu Nagar, RDO Office, Parvathipuram, Jaya Nagar, Dhanalakshmi Nagar, Bharathi Nagar, Ring Road, Devaki Nagar, Manjampakkam, Annai Nagar, and Suyambulingam Nagar neighbourhoods.

There will be a power outage in Vanagaram that will affect Palaniyappa Nagar, Vanagaram Main Road, Karambakkam, Chettiyar Agaram Main Road, Rajivee Nagar, Mahareshi Teachers’ Colony, Kumar Theater, and nearby neighbourhoods.
