In another instance of a Bomb scare or threat, panic ensued among Air India passengers, going from Delhi to Vadodara flight on Wednesday.

In a flight, the note reading “bomb” was discovered on a tissue paper in the airplane’s restroom. Thus, causing panic among people.

According to one official, the aircraft was getting ready for take-off when this note was discovered.

Later after much panic, the Central Industrial Security Force and the Delhi Police were informed about this matter. After their arrival in the scene, they requested the passengers to deboard flight.

Eventually, the flight was searched. But nothing suspicious was found. Then, as a safety measure, the passengers were given another flight.

Following this incident, Air India issued a statement and said, “A specific security alert was detected on Air India flight AI819 scheduled to operate from Delhi to Vadodara on 15 May 2024 just before departure. All passengers were safely deboarded, following the necessary protocol, and the aircraft was taken to a remote bay for mandatory checks by security agencies.”

Later Air India further said, the passengers and crew’s wellbeing are of utmost importance to them. Their colleagues ensured that the inconvenience was minimized due to the unexpected disruption.
