Akali leader Bikram Majithia on Tuesday interacted with the media for the first time after getting interim bail from the Punjab and Haryana High Court in the drugs case. Majithia claimed 100 percent that the Channi government had conspired to stop the PM’s convoy.
Majithia said that he had never seen Sidhu or Channi waiting in the middle of the road like this. Majithia further said that all this was done to harm the PM. On the question of contesting from Amritsar East against Sidhu, Majithia said that if his supporters want, he is ready for it.
While asking on been alleged to be absconding, Majithia said that if I had absconded then Sidhu had also run in this respect. While Rahu-Ketu knew everything, Majithia said that they knew my location. However, when asked who is Rahu Ketu, Majithia said that he will tell about it later. Majithia said that anticipatory bail is everyone’s right. He also went to court for this and he got relief.
Majithia said that a conspiracy was hatched against him. The Channi government had changed three chiefs of Bureau of Investigation (BOI), changed many SSPs. CM Channi himself conspired to implicate me. In this, Deputy CM Sukhjinder Randhawa and an MLA together threatened the officers. Even police officers were offered crores of rupees. Despite this, many officers refused.
Majithia described Sidhu’s Punjab model as a ‘goat model’ and said that he does a “Main-Main”.
Whatever Sidhu is saying, he should first get them confirmed by Manpreet Singh Badal, the Finance Minister of Punjab for 8 years.
