A young man was apprehended by the police in connection with a mobile phone snatching incident. The arrested individual, identified as Sunil alias Bhatija, a 25-year-old resident of Phase-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh, was found in possession of the snatched mobile phone. To address the growing incidents of phone snatching, the Chandigarh Police’s Sector-31 team took action based on undisclosed information and arrested Sunil alias Bhatija.
The accused was involved in snatching a mobile phone from Ritika, a resident of Phase-1, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh, near Ram Leela Ground. Following Ritika’s complaint, the police registered a case and successfully apprehended the suspect, bringing the situation under control. Sunil alias Bhatija was presented before the court and subsequently placed in judicial custody.
