In IPL 2023, Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Deepak Chahar will again provide his services to his franchise with his swing magic.
In the last year IPL 2022 auction, MS Dhoni-led franchise Chennai Super Kings bought Chahar for a grand amount of 14 crores and made his one of the most expensive of IPL 2022 auction. But, Chahar missed the tournament due to stress fracture and a quad grade 3 tear.
But, after recovery, Deepak Chahar will look forward to putting his efforts in IPL 2023 for his team and giving some early breakthroughs in the power-play the way he used to do, which somehow led a path for Chennai Super Kings to win matches.
Updating about his recovery, Chahar told a new agency that, “I am working hard for the past two three months on my fitness, I am fully fit and preparing well for the IPL.”
“I had two big injuries. One was stress fracture and one was quad grade 3 tear. They are both are very big injuries. You are out for months. Anyone who comes back after the injury it takes time, especially for the fast bowlers. If I was a batter I would be playing was back long but as a fast bowler, when you have a stress fracture, it is very tough to get back on track. You can see other bowlers struggling with the back as well,” Chahar added.
