Before the farmers’ march to Delhi, the central government has taken action. The central government is trying to appease the disgruntled farmers. According to information, the central government has invited farmer leaders for talks on 12th February. A note has been issued in this regard, stating that Union Ministers Arjun Munda, Piyush Goyal, and Nitin Gadkari will hold discussions in Chandigarh regarding the demands of farmer unions. Farmers have discussed this late-night with senior officials of the Punjab government and have decided to attend the meeting.

It is reported that this meeting will be held at 5 pm on 12th February at the Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration Punjab, Sector 26. It is also speculated that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann may also participate in this meeting. It should be noted that farmer organizations have announced a march to Delhi on 13th February. The Haryana government is making big arrangements to stop the farmers from going to Delhi. The Haryana government has erected barricades at the Shambhu border.
