The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published the results for the class 12 board exams of 2024 today. This year, a total of 87.98% of students have passed the examinations. To view their scores, candidates can visit the official websites — results.cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, or cbseresults.nic.in. Additionally, the results can be accessed through various platforms such as the UMANG app, Digilocker app, Pariksha Sangam portal, and via SMS.

The CBSE class 12 exams commenced on February 15 and concluded on April 2. To qualify, students must obtain at least 33% marks. The results for class 10 are yet to be disclosed. In the previous years, the CBSE results were declared on May 12 in 2023 and on July 22 in 2022.

6,21,224 students appeared for the Class 12 board exam.

The pass percentage for students who passed in all subjects:

  • Pass percentage for girls: 91.52
  • Pass percentage for boys: 85.12 Girls outperformed boys by 6.40% in the examination.

Overall pass percentage in 2024: 87.98 (Overall pass percentage was 87.33 last year)

Region-wise pass percentages:

  1. First place – Trivandrum: 99.91
  2. Vijayawada: 99.04
  3. Chennai: 98.47
  4. Bangalore: 96.95
