The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) searched around 33 locations on Tuesday, including Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu, Srinagar, Haryana, Gujarat, Delhi, and Karnataka, as part of an ongoing investigation into a Jammu and Kashmir sub inspector recruitment case.
Among the locations searched were those associated with the former chairman, controller of examinations of the JKSSB (Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board), some J&K Police officials, including a DSP (deputy superintendent of police), and the CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force).
Khalid Jehangir, the former chairman of the JKSSB, and Ashok Kumar, the JKSSB’s controller of examination, are investigated.
