Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the second edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2024 in Greater Noida, a five-day event aimed at promoting the state’s economic potential on a global stage. One of the key highlights of the inaugural day was Adityanath’s meeting with a Vietnamese delegation, reflecting the strong diplomatic and economic ties between Uttar Pradesh and Vietnam. Vietnam is the partner country for this year’s trade show, emphasizing its growing involvement in trade and investment in the region.

The trade show, which runs from September 25 to 29, 2024, features over 2,500 exhibitors and 350 foreign buyers, making it a significant event in the global trade calendar. Adityanath expressed his gratitude to Vietnam for its participation, emphasizing the potential for collaboration in sectors like food processing and IT. He also highlighted the importance of international partnerships in fostering the growth of Uttar Pradesh’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), which are the largest in India, providing vital contributions to the state’s economy.

The Vietnamese delegation not only participated in trade discussions but also showcased their traditional arts during cultural programs, adding a rich cultural exchange element to the event.
