He praised Singh’s commitment to parliamentary duties, emphasizing the former prime minister’s support for democracy regardless of party affiliations. Modi recalled an instance where Singh, despite using a wheelchair, actively participated in parliamentary proceedings, showcasing his dedication to democracy.
The ongoing Budget Session has been extended to February 10 to present a white paper on the economy pre and post-2014, with PM Modi highlighting the UPA government’s alleged economic mismanagement during his recent parliamentary addresses.
