Bhagat Phool Singh Women’s University Khanpur Kalan, Sonipat, organised a National Seminar on Women Empowerment and Sustainable Development Goals in collaboration with the Department of Social Work, National Council for Social Sciences Research Western Region Center, and Punjab University Chandigarh.

The event saw the participation of Professor Sudesh, Vice Chancellor of Bhagat Phool Singh Women’s University Khanpur Kalan, Kiran Hazarika, Vice Chancellor of Ignu, and the Vice Chancellor of the Central University Himachal Pradesh, who served as the Chief Guests. Several Deans and academics from various universities across the country also attended the seminar. The Vice Chancellor released a souvenir during the event.

The technical session was chaired by Priyanka Punia, an educator from Panchkula. Research scholars from different parts of the country presented their papers on Women Empowerment and Sustainable Development Goals. Priyanka Punia praised the personality and work of the research scholars, emphasizing the need for women to collaborate on education, health, equality, and economic self-reliance.

Kritika Goswami, an educationist, presented on behalf of Punjab State. The Head of the Department of Social Work, Manju Pawar, honored and expressed gratitude to Priyanka Punia for her contributions to the seminar.
