Filmmaker Boney Kapoor has supported a number of productions starring his late wife Sridevi and brother Anil Kapoor. He feels it is his responsibility to help his family by using his talents. Like his younger brothers Anil and Sanjay Kapoor, Boney’s son Arjun Kapoor and daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor work in the entertainment industry. In an interview , the director claimed that supporting his family members’ careers and providing them with guidance is not a big deal.
The director refers to Boney Kapoor’s family as the center-forward because they have appeared in several of his films, while he considers himself to be a background player.
