The release date for the Spanish film Culpa Tuya, the sequel to last year’s Culpa Mia, has been announced for December 27.
Culpa Mia, a 2023 Spanish romantic drama directed by Domingo Gonzalez, starred Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara. The film is based on the first book of the Culpable trilogy by Mercedes Ron.
The sequel will feature returning stars Gabriel Guevara and Nicole Wallace as Nick and Noah, with Domingo Gonzalez back as writer-director. New additions to the cast include Marta Hazas, Ivan Sanchez, Victor Varona, and Eva Ruiz. Goya Toledo will portray Anabel, Gabriela Andrada will play Sofia, Alex Bejar will be Briar, Javier Morgade will take on the role of Michael, and Felipe Londono will appear as Luca.
The sequel’s plot continues the tumultuous love story between Noah and Nick. Despite their strong bond, their relationship faces new challenges from their parents and external pressures. With Noah starting college and Nick’s job changing, they encounter new relationships and complications. A vengeful ex-girlfriend and Nick’s mother, whose intentions remain unclear, threaten not just their romance but the stability of the Leister family. The logline hints at intense drama: “When so many people are out to destroy a love story, can it really end well?”
