Mumbai Police had also last year exposed a conspiracy to kill the actor at his farmhouse in Panvel. Lawrence Bishnoi gang shooters were allegedly stalking the actor and plotting to kill him when he came to the farmhouse. Lawrence Bishnoi has publicly discussed his hatred for the actor, which is because of a blackbuck poaching case against the actor in the 90s. Blackbucks are revered by the Bishnoi community. Salman was last seen on the big screen in AR Murugadoss’ Bollywood return, Sikandar. The movie hit the theatres on Eid, but failed to make a good beginning. Sikandar has grossed slightly more than ₹200 crore worldwide and ₹109 crore in India, but is now decelerating. It is most likely that the movie will complete its run below ₹250 crore, which will be a disappointing amount for Salman.
