Their bond grew stronger over time, and on April 14, 2022, they tied the knot in a private ceremony held at their Mumbai residence. Ranbir’s Heartfelt Words for Alia

He shared, “One thing is clear and I’m not saying this because she’s my wife. Alia in the history of Indian cinema is probably one of the most important actors there’s ever been. The work she’s done on screen or the kind of way she carries herself, the value system that she has and what she stands by, I haven’t seen that strength in men or women and I think we should just respect that.”
At the time, Alia was pregnant with their daughter Raha, yet she continued promoting Brahmastra. Ranbir strongly defended her from online criticism and negativity. He highlighted her commitment and grace under pressure.
“I think the way she has carried herself through the entire marketing of this film being pregnant, being in the condition that she is – I think you should only be inspired by that. Any kind of criticism is just jealousy and mischief makers and stupidity and we should not take that seriously,” he added.

Ranbir has also taken on the role of Lord Ram in Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The cast includes Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Yash as Ravana. The first part is expected to release during Diwali 2026, followed by the second installment in Diwali 2027. Alia, on the other hand, is working on Alpha, where she will appear alongside Sharvari Wagh.
