Nita Ambani’s Royal $6.5 Million Diamond Ring Is Back At Anant Ambani’s Reception

Nita Ambani wowed guests at the Mangal Utsav reception celebrating her son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s marriage on July 12, 2024, following their six-year courtship. She turned heads in a pink sari, but it was her diamond ring that stole the show.

Mukesh and Nita Ambani hosted an extravagant wedding for their youngest son, Anant, which garnered global attention for its grandeur. Nita Ambani, renowned for her impeccable style, was a highlight at the July 14, 2024 reception. She chose a custom pink multi-resham kadhwa floral woven brocade sari with real silver embroidery, paired with an archival blouse featuring real silver zari. Complementing her elegant attire, Nita Ambani adorned herself with exquisite jewellery, notably showcasing a remarkable diamond ring.

The standout piece was the ‘Mirror of Paradise’ ring, a stunning 52.58-carat D-color internally flawless diamond accented with tapered baguette-cut diamonds. Originating from the Golconda region of India, this historic ring is valued at approximately USD 6.5 million (Rs 53 crore). Previously part of the Mughal empire’s jewellery collection, it was auctioned at Christie’s in 2019 as part of the Maharajas and Mughal auction.

This isn’t the first occasion Nita Ambani has showcased this exceptional jewel. She also wore it during Anant and Radhika’s hastakshar ceremony in March 2024, pairing it with a customized Manish Malhotra handloom Kanchipuram sari and an impressive emerald-studded diamond necklace.

Nita Ambani’s fashion choices blend historical significance with modern elegance, setting new standards in luxury and style. Her ability to integrate such rare and valuable pieces into her wardrobe makes each appearance a testament to her distinctive fashion sense and cultural appreciation.
