Blake Lively Rocks Britney Spears’ 2000s Vintage Versace Gown At ‘It Ends With Us’ Premiere

After showcasing a series of stunning outfits for the promotions of ‘It Ends With Us’, Blake Lively made a grand entrance at the premiere in a vintage Versace Butterfly dress once worn by Britney Spears in 2002. Here’s a closer look at her glamorous choice.

Blake Lively’s promotional wardrobe has included everything from bold print-on-print dresses to refined floral ensembles, but her premiere outfit was the crowning jewel.

For the premiere of ‘It Ends With Us’, an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s romance novel, Lively honored Britney Spears by donning a historic Versace gown. The dress, first worn by Spears at a 2002 Versace show in Milan, features a one-shoulder halter neckline, a front cut-out, floral waist embellishments, shimmering sequins, a figure-hugging fit, and a flowing skirt in vibrant hues.

“Today’s mood. The ultimate queen who made us all want to sparkle and write and share our stories,” Lively shared on social media.

In an interview with People, Lively expressed her excitement, saying, “It is Britney’s actual dress. It should be in the Smithsonian or the Met. But it’s on me. I feel so lucky!”

Her choice of the floral-themed dress reflects her character, Lily Bloom, and her floral shop in the film. Lively completed the look with Lorraine Schwartz rings matching the dress colors, flower-shaped earrings, and strappy heels. Her hair was styled in side-parted voluminous curls, complemented by pink lips, rouged cheeks, mascara-coated lashes, and feathered brows.
