Aditya Chopra Eyes Ayan Mukerji For Dhoom 4 Following War 2 Success

Ayan Mukerji, known for his work on Brahmastra, could be stepping into the director’s chair for Dhoom 4, according to recent reports. Mukerji is currently collaborating with Yash Raj Films on War 2, which stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani. Despite being engrossed in this project, Mukerji has reportedly had preliminary discussions with Aditya Chopra about the possibility of directing the next installment of the popular Dhoom franchise.

Aditya Chopra’s Vision

A source close to the development revealed to Bollywood Hungama that Chopra is thrilled with the footage from War 2 and has informally broached the subject of Dhoom 4 with Mukerji. “Aditya Chopra is very happy with the footage shot for War 2 and has verbally discussed his intent of making Dhoom 4 with Ayan Mukerji,” the insider stated. Mukerji, while enthusiastic about the opportunity, has requested time to finish his current commitments, including discussions about the future of Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Jio Studios.

The source further highlighted Chopra’s dedication to the Dhoom franchise, noting that Dhoom 4 would be his most ambitious project to date. “Aditya Chopra knows the power of the Dhoom franchise and has kept it closest to his heart,” the insider added. Chopra is focused on assembling the best talent to ensure Dhoom 4 lives up to its legacy.

About the Cast

While the latest reports do not confirm any details about the cast, there has been speculation about potential actors for the villain role. Previous films in the franchise featured notable actors in antagonistic roles, including John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan, and Aamir Khan. Recently, rumors suggested that Shah Rukh Khan might be considered for the villain role in Dhoom 4, though these remain speculative.

As discussions continue, fans eagerly await official announcements regarding the cast and the project’s development.
