Meanwhile, after the win of Team India in recently concluded T20 world cup, Virat Kohli shortly announced his retirement from T20 format saying, that its time for the new generation to take the reins.
In the final match, He pushed India to a total of 176 runs by playing an exceptional knock of 76 off 59 balls. As a result, he won ‘Player Of the Match’ title for his performance in the final match.
As for T20 format, he has made 4188 runs with an average of 48.7 with strike rate of 137.04. In addition, he has made 38 fifties and 1 hundred in T20 format.
