The incident came to light when a BJP activist noticed unusual activities on the party’s Instagram page and promptly informed the central IT cell. Upon investigation, it was revealed that an unknown individual had manipulated the Stories section by uploading images related to cryptocurrency and Bitcoin.
In response, the IT cell immediately took steps to recover the Instagram page. The state IT cell informed the central IT cell about the hacking incident. Efforts were initiated to remove the hacker’s post and restore the page to its normal state.
