Arun Singh, the state in charge of the BJP, stated that there is tremendous enthusiasm among all sections of society regarding the Parivartan Sankalp Yatra (Change Resolution March). He claimed “The common people are showing opposition to the Congress government. The public is suffering under Congress’s rule. Women’s crimes, corruption, youth issues, and opposition from farmers have left the entire state in turmoil. Law and order have collapsed. This government is damaging the future of the youth. Incidents of rape, gang rape, and murder against women and children have become common.”
He made these remarks during a press interaction in Chaksu during the Parivartan Sankalp Yatra.
In addition to Arun Singh, former state president Arun Chaturvedi, Rajya Sabha member Kirori Lal Meena, and Member of Parliament Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria also raised questions about unemployment, deteriorating law and order, and atrocities against women.
Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha member Kirori Lal Meena accused the Congress government of corruption and scandals. He called it a government of corruption, where the government’s representatives are involved in corruption. He said, “Ministers of the government are involved in scams worth 20,000 crores, and these scams are being protected by the government. The government is protecting criminals. If legislators and ministers of the government are not safe, what will be the condition of the common people? The people of the state are watching, and they will respond in the upcoming assembly elections.” He said that the Ashok Gehlot government is the most “corrupt” in Rajasthan’s history.
