"BJP will form govt with a full majority in Madhya Pradesh": Jyotiraditya Scindia

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, expressing their optimism, anticipate the BJP securing a resounding victory in Madhya Pradesh as the state braces for the election results on December 3.

Scindia, while addressing reporters in Gwalior, asserted, “We have full confidence that the BJP will form the government with a full majority in MP during tomorrow’s counting. Let us wait for 24 hours, and the results will be in front of us.”

Echoing this sentiment, Chouhan in Bhopal remarked, “We are confident that the BJP is forming the government in the state with a huge majority. The Bharatiya Janata Party has received support from every section of the society, and we are going to form the government here with an overwhelming majority.”

Madhya Pradesh conducted polls for its 230 assembly seats on November 17, witnessing a substantial voter turnout of 77.15%. As the state eagerly awaits the electoral outcome, most exit polls released on Thursday hinted at the BJP leading, while some projections favored the Congress.

Reacting to the exit poll results, former Chief Minister Kamal Nath expressed skepticism, alleging that certain exit polls were deliberately designed to demoralize Congress workers and create an artificial sense of pressure on officials by fabricating a misleading narrative.
