AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi claimed that the BJP hates minorities so the saffron party has omitted the phrase “minorities” from its manifesto, referring to them instead as “marginalized.”

According to Owaisis, AIMIM will stand for Anupriya Patel’s Apna Dal (K) in Uttar Pradesh during the Assembly elections, while the party will back Anand Ambedkar in Amaravati, Maharashtra, and Prakash Ambedkar in Akola.

”I have seen the BJP’s advertisement on April 17 in various newspapers. Please see when they talk about giving loans or help to start a business from the government, it says ST and OBC. The BJP is even refusing to mention word minorities forget about Muslims. The word minorities is mentioned in the Constitution of India and the BJP has a great hatred for the word M,” Owaisi stated in PTI videos on Wednesday.

”They have not mentioned the word minorities. They say scholarships will be given to marginalized communities,”  he stated.

He asserted that Muslims and Dalits had the highest rates of school dropouts and that the BJP has made intentional efforts to raise the dropout rate in the Muslim population.

He said that the highest rates of school dropouts were among Muslims and Dalits and that the BJP had deliberately worked to increase the dropout rate among Muslims.

The Hyderabad Lok Sabha member urged people to consider the concerns before voting for any party, claiming that there is a threat to the Constitution, a high unemployment rate in the nation due to a lack of jobs, and an increase in hostility against minorities.

According to Owaisi, the BJP may discuss elevating the nation’s economy to the third rank in the world, but growth must take per capita income into account.

Even though his party and the AIADMK had previously held talks in Tamil Nadu, he claimed that because the latter was then a part of the NDA, the talks never really took off. But he added that the Palaniswami-led party would emerge victorious in the Assembly elections and would also likely do well in the Lok Sabha polls because it had left the NDA and declared its opposition to the CAA and NRC.
