Maharastra Senior BJP Leader and spokesperson Asif Bhamla said that in the upcoming Lok Sabha election, the BJP will win more than 400 seats. He speaks about the work of the BJPled government at the Friend of Mumbai Awards and Conclave on Sunday, February 18, 2024, organised by ITV Network. Asif said the workers of our Bharatiya Janata Party are fully prepared, from top to bottom. They are fully prepared to go to the elections. He said, “If I talk about our Maharashtra, the districtlevel meeting has started. Our decision has already been taken among the three of us, so we are ahead of time and we are going to prove it. This time we will cross 400, and this is the confidence of our party under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Not only this, but the public has expressed that, for the third time, we will win with more votes. He said there is no sense of confusion in Maharashtra; the confusion that the opposition party tried to create got diminished. If you see Maharashtra only, Atal Setu is being built here; also, coastal roads are being built in Maharashtra, and the speed of the metro is increasing. The BJP government is working on every single development aspect that Mumbaikars want, whether it’s transport interconnectivity, urban or rural connectivity, or other development works. He said the development work in Mumbai is back on track under the leadership of Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis, which got derailed for two and a half years under opposition rule. Reacting to Ashok Chavan joining the BJP, Asif said before this that five Chief Ministers have left the Congress. If you see Ghulam Nabi Azad, he left Congress, and there are five more such names. There are many good names. Even leaders like Milind Deora have also chosen the BJP only because of the corruption and undevelopmental work done by the opposition. Leaders like him are capable of bringing change, so why should we leave him? The next governments also had many big leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party in their state, and they joined them, but today we are hearing that a leader like Kamal Nath himself wants to join us. There are many such names; we will see further.
