On Thursday, J P Nadda, the president of the BJP, spoke at a public rally in the Giridih district of Jharkhand as part of the party’s mass outreach campaign marking the end of the nine-year tenure of the NDA at the Centre.

He will also meet notable individuals as part of the saffron party’s “Sampark Se Samarthan” campaign while in the state.
According to a statement from the party, Nadda would visit Sarod player Mor Ji and Mukut Kedia Ji at their Giridih home.

Last month, the BJP initiated a national campaign in which its leaders, including ministers and lawmakers, are contacting people, including notable figures, to ask for their support for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

While there, he will take part in a number of organizational and public events. Nadda is slated to fly from Ranchi to Giridih in the morning to address the rally at Jhanda Maidan.

The BJP president will depart for Odisha to preside over a meeting with senior members of the Bargarh Lok Sabha seat at the party office in Jharsuguda after attending a few other events in Giridih, according to the statement.
