A major development related to Punjab politics has just surfaced. Akali leader Bikram Majithia has made a surprising announcement. According to information received, Majithia has declared his decision to exit politics. In a tweet, Majithia stated that he would leave politics if the Punjab government fulfills his five demands. These demands include an improved education system, quality healthcare for all, reduced inflation, employment for every youth, and providing free electricity to the poor along with 24-hour electricity supply.
It’s noteworthy that just a few days ago, Delhi Chief Minister and ‘AAP’ supremo Arvind Kejriwal had presented these same five demands before Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Kejriwal had stated that if the Modi government fulfills these five demands, he would retire from politics. Following a similar trend, Bikram Majithia has now placed these demands in front of the Punjab government.
