Bihar Chief Minister tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday. CM Nitesh has been suffering from a fever for the past four days. It is being told that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has isolated himself at home.
Earlier on Monday, Nitish also missed the swearing-in ceremony of President Droupadi Murmu.
Meanwhile, on Monday Bihar reported 355 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours taking the total count of active cases in Bihar to 1,850. Whereas, Patna reported 94, cases, followed by Saharsa (57), Bhagalpur (27), Araria (21), Supaul (20), Nalanda (11) and other districts reported less than 11 cases and five districts did not report any new cases.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare India reported 14,830 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours on Tuesday.
However, more details about CM Nitish Kumar are awaited.
