In a welcome development for those frustrated by traffic jams in Begowal city, the deployed traffic police officers have enforced strict traffic management today. The direct impact of this has been a significant alleviation of the traffic congestion on the Begowal-Tanda main route. Previously, the persistent jams posed challenges for commuters, lasting anywhere from half an hour to sometimes a whole hour. However, the stringent measures taken by traffic officials are now providing relief to the public.
It’s worth noting that traffic police Assistant Sub-Inspector Sukhwinder Singh and Constable Gurdeep Singh issued fines on Wednesday to individuals violating traffic regulations. A conversation with Assistant Sub-Inspector Sukhwinder Singh revealed that as per the directives of senior police officers, they are currently on duty in Begowal and Nadala. Their primary objective is to take appropriate action against those who violate traffic rules. Accordingly, today they issued 8 fines for violations related to no-parking zones.
