As the parliamentary polls draw near, Chautala family, one of the prominent political families of Haryana continues to remain in discussions in the political spheres ahead of polls due to two reasons, firstly-the declining status of Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), secondly- heated arguments being exchanged between both factions in the family after Ajay Chautala hinted at the reunion of the family.
After the saffron Bharatiya Janta Party(BJP) has refrained from the JJP bringing the alliance to an end after a period of around four and half years leaving everyone stunned, its former ally JJP is suffering back to back setbacks as the party’s state president Nishan Singh, MLA Jogi Ram Sihag along with the National and state general secretaries have also bid a farewell to the party. In such a situation, JJP is seen in a state of constant churning. In this series, following a new statement of JJP supremo Ajay Singh Chautala, both factions including the JJP and the INLD general secretary Abhay Singh Chautala along with their aide are eyeball to eyeball over social media over the battle of supremacy ahead of polls.
Since the JJP stalwarts continue to face public as well farmers’ anger while canvassing, the INLD leaders are leaving no stone unturned to take on the JJP on social media platforms.
Regarding this, INLD is continuously attacking JJP and its leaders on social media, saying that the end of JJP era is certain in every way and the party will disappear from the scenario this time. Regarding this, Rampal Majra, who was recently appointed the new President of INLD, wrote on his ‘X’ account that not only the political but also the social end of JJP is certain. Now only four people will be left in the party of traitors. If four people survive, it means that apart from Ajay Chautala, it will include his wife Naina Chautala, sons Dushyant and Digvijay. Notably, at many places in Hisar, people raised slogans against Dushyant Chautala, while on the other hand, his father Ajay Chautala had to face opposition from people in Bhiwani. While reacting ro Rampal Majra’s dig at JJP on social media, JJP leader and former minister Anup Dhanak, a confidant of Dushyant said that ‘’Through the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections held in 2019, the people of Haryana have already shown who ended where . After the elections of 2024, neither the name of your party nor any trace will be left …what is more saddened is that such a big party (INLD) and ideology got destroyed because of the arrogance, adultery and behavior of one man (possibly Abhay) and a sycophant like you’’
It is pertinent to mention that the aforementioned fresh batte surfaced following a fresh statement of Ajay Chautala. In this context, a fresh statement of Ajay Chautala, the National President of JJP that ‘’if his father OP Chautala permits, then we can unite again. OP Chautala has to take the initiative and if he calls tomorrow, we are ready to come’’ led to new political speculations as well equations and possibilities in the politics of Haryana, but soon Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) General Secretary and OP Chautala’s younger son Abhay Singh Chautala put an end to these possibilities saying that ‘’ Ajay was disappointed by the stampede in JJP. They are too late and are the traitors of the party. They would talk about following the policies of Devi Lal and seek votes on them. But they joined hands with BJP and started looting people. There is no place for them in INLD. The party supremo OP Chautala has made it clear that these traitors have no place in our party’’
On the other hand, former Deputy CM and JJP big shot Dushyant Chautala is also using social media in a bid to remove people’s resentment. On his ‘’X’’ account, not only promoting election campaigns he is also delivering messages directly or indirectly through social media that if any mistake is made, it will be rectified and no stone will be left unturned to correct it. At one place he wrote quoting a senior citizen that ‘’correct your shortcomings son, don’t lose courage’’ At the same time, he is saying through gestures that he is still connected to his people, area and assembly.Apart from the above, Birendra Singh, who returned to Congress on February 9, is also continuously active on social media. Not only are there constant discussions on social media about his joining Congress, his old videos and interviews are also going viral in which he is raising questions on the party high command as well Bhupender Singh Hooda before and after leaving the party in 2014. The most discussed are his videos in which he is attacking Bhupendra Singh Hooda and now it is being said that he had to come to Hooda again.
