Congress has taken a big decision before the upcoming elections in Chhattisgarh as the State Pradesh Congress President Deepak Baij has been made the chairman in this election committee. National secretaries Vikas Upadhyay, Rajesh Tiwari and Paras Chopra have got place in the committee. Along with this, senior MLAs Satyanarayan Sharma, Dhanendra Sahu and Amitesh Shukla, ministers Ravindra Choubey, Tamradhwaj Sahu, Mohammad Akbar, Anila Bhediya, Shiv Dahria, Jaisingh Agarwal, Rudra Guru and Mohan Markam have been included.
Earlier, Lok Sabha MP from Bastar Deepak Baij was given the responsibility of state president in place of state’s big tribal leader and MLA Mohan Markam. The BJP had attacked the Congress regarding this. Chhattisgarh Bharatiya Janata Party’s state president Arun Saw termed it as an insult to Mohan Markam.
