Haryana Congress in-charge Deepak Babaria has prepared the blueprint of Congress organization and will hand over the list of names of all the district heads to the party high command on October 7th. The party can announce the official list on October 10th.
The high command is expected to call a joint meeting of senior leaders of Haryana to forge a consensus and release the list. The party president will also decide whether working presidents should be made in every district on the lines of the state Congress or not. To balance the senior Congress leaders, the party leadership has appointed four working presidents along with State President Chaudhary Udaybhan. The matter is still pending due to factionalism, in such a situation, the decision of the party high command will be the final decision.
It is expected that 1 to 4 executive district heads can also be made in the district. Babaria has already discussed this matter with many senior leaders of the party and will reach New Delhi on Wednesday and hold a meeting with other leaders. Even before the formation of the organization, many leaders have already reached the high command. These include Randeep Singh Surjewala, Kumari Selja and Kiran Chaudhary.
These leaders had met the National President and Organization General Secretary of the party. Besides, questions were also raised regarding the process of organization formation. In many districts, a consensus has been reached regarding the posts of District Heads and Rural District Heads, but the issue is stuck in about half a dozen districts.
Here many veterans are trying hard to make their supporters the District President. There are three to five names in these districts and if no consensus is reached here, then the party high command can call a joint meeting of senior leaders.
In the first phase, the list of District Presidents will be released and in the second phase, the list of Executive Presidents will be released. The leaders contending for the post of District President argue that if an Executive President is also appointed in a district, then factionalism will increase instead of decrease.
