The Ayodhya administration is working on installing the world’s longest solar light line in preparation for the upcoming ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Temple. The ambitious project has already seen the successful completion of the stretch from Guptar Ghat to Jhunki Ghat, with plans underway to extend the installation to Nayaghat.

The initiative aims to connect several previously segmented ghats seamlessly, with the administration working tirelessly to create a stunning visual spectacle from Guptar Ghat to Jhunki Ghat. The project aligns with the preparations for the Lord Ram Pran Pratishtha ceremony scheduled in Ayodhya, which has garnered global attention.

In conjunction with the grand event, the Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is set to launch a massive cleanliness campaign from Makar Sankranti in Ayodhya. Following this, an extensive cleanliness drive will be conducted across every village, city, and locality in the state, with the Urban Development and Panchayati Raj Departments entrusted with the responsibility, as per an official release from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and scheduled for January 22, has attracted notable attention, with invitations extended to several VVIP guests from India and abroad. However, Congress leaders, including national president Mallikarjun Kharge, former president Sonia Gandhi, and the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, have declined the invitations, characterizing the event as associated with the BJP and the RSS.

The main rituals for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla are set to commence on January 16, led by priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi. The festivities in Ayodhya will span from January 14 to January 22, marked as the Amrit Mahotsav.

To accommodate the influx of thousands of devotees expected to converge in Ayodhya for the grand ceremony, arrangements are being made for a 1008 Hundi Mahayagya, during which devotees will be fed. Tent cities are also being erected to host the anticipated crowd, with the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust ensuring arrangements for 10,000-15,000 people. Local authorities are actively enhancing security measures and logistical arrangements to ensure a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for all attendees during the momentous ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony.
