The CM’s Flying Squad, in collaboration with RTA officials, dismantles a fraudulent gang specializing in counterfeit receipts for road tax, toll tax, parking charges, and various other taxes. The operation uncovered the group’s headquarters in a rented house in Sector 41, originally designated for economically weaker sections. Exploiting this inconspicuous location, the gang meticulously altered authentic tax receipts, distributing fake documents to commercial vehicle drivers.

Operating unhindered for the past year, the gang’s activities came to an abrupt halt with the arrest of Ravi Kumar in Uttar Pradesh. Investigations revealed Ravi’s complicity with the center’s owner, Santosh Yadav, in orchestrating the illicit operation spanning multiple states, including Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh. Inspector Harish, representing the CM’s Flying Squad, disclosed the recovery of stamps from various state authorities in their possession.

This elaborate scheme not only defrauded unsuspecting commercial drivers but also posed a significant threat to the integrity of tax collection systems across state borders. The swift action taken by law enforcement underscores the commitment to combatting organized crime and safeguarding public trust in regulatory processes. As the investigation unfolds, authorities remain vigilant in dismantling similar criminal enterprises, ensuring the security and transparency of financial transactions within the region.
