Making the Government’s “Aapke Dwar” concept a reality, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reached the village of Khatauli on Sunday, where a lot of enthusiasm was seen among the villagers. On this occasion, Haryana Assembly Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta participated as the chief guest in the program organised at Community Center Khatauli.
During the program, the live address of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal was broadcast through the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra Jansamvad LED van, to which all the dignitaries and villagers present listened with keen interest.
The Assembly Speaker inspected the stalls set up by the departments and addressed the people in the program organised at the community centre of village Khatauli. Gyan Chand Gupta emphasised that every eligible person should benefit from welfare schemes. The chariot, guaranteed by Narendra Modi, has reached village Khatauli with the same objective. He mentioned that during this visit, the concerned departments are providing the benefits of schemes on the spot to eligible beneficiaries, including schemes like BPL, Family Identity Card, Ayushman/Chirayu Card, Vridha Samman Allowance, Kisan Samman Nidhi, etc. This is to ensure that they can avail the benefits without the need to visit offices.
Gupta mentioned that in some schemes requiring verification and time, the concerned departments are collecting documents from beneficiaries. He directed that the benefits of the schemes should be provided as soon as possible by giving priority to these applications. Gupta announced that a follow-up camp will be organized on February 2 to review the applications received during the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra and assess how many beneficiaries were provided benefits. Reasons for those who did not receive benefits will also be reviewed.
In terms of development, Gupta informed that approximately Rs 27.50 crore has been spent on various development works in village Khatauli over the last nine years. He mentioned plans for a sports stadium on 5 acres of land in the village at a cost of Rs 2.50 crore to encourage youth towards sports. Administrative approval has been received, and the tender has been allotted. Additionally, construction work of two cremation grounds is in progress in the village at a cost of Rs 45 lakh each.
Gupta presented certificates to beneficiaries of various schemes and honored outstanding players and students who presented welcome songs and cultural programs. He also administered an oath to all present to make India a self-reliant and developed nation by 2047.
