With more than 187 years of unparalleled history, valour, and heritage, the Assam Rifles, our nation’s most distinguished paramilitary force, will be fielding a contingent for the Republic Day Parade in 2023. The Assam Rifles Military Band will accompany the 144-member contingent. will be a mixed contingent with an equal number of Riflemen and Riflewomen highlighting “Gender Equality”
