Sarabjot Singh made a comeback during the contest and finished fifth, qualifying for the individual event final. Arjun Singh Cheema placed eighth and advanced to the final. Shiva Narwal placed 14th and was unable to advance to the individual final, but the Indian team’s overall score was enough to defeat China by one point and win the gold medal.
