The Dera Bassi Police have successfully apprehended an individual who had been evading arrest for four years in connection with a curfew violation case from the year 2020. The police have arrested the accused and initiated further proceedings. According to information received, Constable Harpreet Singh stated that during the lockdown, Jaspreet Singh, son of Bholu Singh, a resident of Nagpur district, Fatehabad, Haryana, was accused of violating curfew at the Dera Bassi Police Station. Since then, the accused had been absent during legal proceedings. The Dera Bassi Court had declared him a fugitive. Following the court’s order, the police successfully arrested the individual who had been on the run for four years. He was presented in the Dera Bassi court, where he was granted bail, and the court ordered his participation in legal proceedings.
